• Images: Receipt photos you upload (stored securely in app's private directory)

• Categories: Custom categories you create for organizing transactions

All data is used solely for the following purposes:

• Displaying your financial transactions, statistics, and trends
• Generating charts, graphs, and reports for your financial analysis
• Exporting data to CSV files when you request it
• Providing app functionality (budgeting, categorization, search, etc.)
• Sending local notifications for budget alerts and reminders

Important: Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

5.1 Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. When you use NutVault, Google AdMob may collect and process:

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• Ad Interaction Data: Ad views, clicks, and interaction patterns
• Technical Data: IP address, app version, timestamp of ad requests
• General Location: Approximate location based on IP address (not precise GPS location)

5.2 What Google Does NOT Access

Your financial data is completely separate and private:

• ❌ Google cannot access your transaction records, amounts, or categories
• ❌ Google cannot see your budget information or spending patterns
• ❌ Google cannot access receipt photos you upload
• ❌ Google cannot view any financial data stored in the app

5.3 Advertising ID and Your Choices

Google uses your device's Advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can control this:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

Opting out will show you less relevant ads, but won't stop ads from appearing.

We do NOT use:

• ❌ Crash reporting or diagnostic services that send data externally
• ❌ Any other advertising networks besides Google AdMob

The app requires the following permissions to provide its features:

Note: All permissions are optional and only used when you explicitly request these features. You can revoke permissions at any time through your device settings.

7. Data Export and Deletion

• Export Data: You can export all your data to CSV format at any time via Settings → Export Data. This creates a file that you can share, backup, or import into other applications.
• Delete Specific Data: You can delete individual transactions, categories, or budgets at any time.
• Clear All Data: You can permanently delete all data via Settings → Clear All Data.
• Uninstall App: Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data from your device.

8. Children's Privacy

Our app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. It is safe for users of all ages. However, parental guidance is recommended for children under 13 when using financial management applications.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted in the app and on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

10. Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store your data externally, you have complete control:

11. International Users

NutVault works globally with most features available offline. Your financial data never leaves your device. However, Google AdMob (our advertising partner) may transfer advertising-related data internationally as per Google's Privacy Policy.

GDPR Compliance (EU Users):

• Google AdMob complies with GDPR requirements for EU users
• You have the right to opt out of personalized advertising
• Consent for ad personalization is managed through Google's systems
• Your financial data remains on your device and is NOT subject to GDPR data transfers

CCPA Compliance (California Users):

• Google AdMob complies with CCPA requirements
• California residents can opt out of the "sale" of personal information via Advertising ID settings

12. Data Breach Notification

Since your data never leaves your device and we don't maintain any servers or databases, there is no risk of a data breach on our end. Your data security depends entirely on your device's security measures.
